Great Revival

Must say it was a great revival. Reverend Ronnie Cooper was just excellent and the messages the messages the Lord gave him touched my heart. Please continue to pray for our church and their music department, it really needs work. Also pray for my ventriloquist ministry.
I really have a hard time listening to where the Lord is leading me. I love my job but always feel called to the ministry in one way or another. I continue in prayer and devotion to God and just ask him to guide me in the right direction. It is always confusing to me as it has been forever it seems. Why do some people say "God Told Them". How are they privileged to a personal discussion with God? Why doesn't God tell me? So confusing. I wish he would. You know the song, "Where ever he leads I'll go"? That is the way I feel. I really want to do God's work. Just don't know, and can't figure out, where he is leading me.
Got some great ideas for ventriloquism this week off of Reverend Ronnie Cooper so I'd hope to be able to use them. Anyway, enough rambling for tonight.

Revival at Church

We're having revival at our church this week. Very good speaker, Reverand Ronnie Cooper from Mississippi (how many people spell that by the thing we learned in school?). Tonight he talked about the angels and how they were there for Jesus when he was in the garden, being crucified, at his resurection and at his transention. It was a great sermon and he is very emotional in his sermons. I think it's great and it has touched my heart. I'm looking forward to the next couple nights.

I'm going to start figuring out my routine on psychic "Cold Reading" and mentalism. I think I'm going to start working on this tonight. I may be going to I-fest this year (that is a Christian ventriloquist/puppeteers convention) and that weekend perform a show for my Mom and Dad and Sisters church in July. This would be a great chance for me to break out of my dry spell in performing for churches. Pray for me in this area PLEASE!

After 15 Long Years

Well, it's happened. After 15 long years the Cavs have made it to the Eastern Finals once again. I am so looking forward to the next series. Although I am not as optimistic as some Cavs fans I do look for them to give the Pistons a run for their money. Just goes to show that persistance pays off. It looks like 2007 is going to be a good year for Cleveland Fans and it is about time!

Got to go now, get some shut eye and get ready for church this Sunday. We're having revival this week. Pray for us. I leave you with this verse 1 TIMOTHY 6:12 and this picture

What am I doing up so late?

Crazy as it may seem, for some reason I can not sleep tonight. Since this is my first blog let me tell you a little about myself and where I'm at. My name is Daniel Lee Robison, born in Warren, Ohio on December 17, 1960. Little did my parents know what they were bringing in to the world at that time! 46 years later as of today, I am now working for AutoTrader.com, the biggest and best place to shop for a car online on the planet.
Since this will be my daily post as long as I can keep up with it here are a few other interesting facts about me. I started ventriloquism at the age of 5 and magic at the age of 12. I have been performing professionally since the age of 12 and have a few websites to help promote both me and my art (ventriloquism), they are http://www.thefamilyvent.com/ and http://www.ventriloquism.org/.
I have been married to the same beautiful woman for almost 26 years, her name, Susan Leigh Fabian (now Robison). She has stuck beside me through thick and thin and there is no one else I would rather be with right now and ever. Words of wisdom, marriage is never easy (just ask Sue) but never give up! Hang on to your first wife forever and life will be less complicated.
I have 2 great children Andrew Nicholas Robison (21) and Breanne Kristine Robison (18). They make me proud and are just awesome! Words of wisdom II, when ever someone tells you that the teenage years are the worst, don't believe them. Every year you have with your children, cherish them. There all great years, just different.
We have had our ups and downs both financially and spiritually. We finally got back on track spiritually by going to Austin Village Baptist Church. The church membership is very small but the mission field is huge. Please keep this church in your prayers. God can do great things with this church, please pray that he leads the right people to the right positions.
Come back often, you will be able to read what's on my mind and what's been happening in our lives. Maybe even see a picture or two. You will hear about the Cavs, Browns and Indians along with what is happening with me with AutoTrader.com and with ventriloquism. Maybe even about our trips and just things in general.
One thing that I am looking forward to is putting a magic routine together about psychics and people like Sylvia Browne and John Edwards. These folks claim to speak to the dead and really just use and art called "Cold Reading". Many Christians are following and believing these "fakes" and falling for their deception, I want to expose them and help these people that have fallen for their lies get back on track. It is amazing how people need hope and how others will take advantage of them to give them this form of "false" hope. I have been studying a lot about mentalism (which is a form of magic I used to hate!) and am now putting together a show with the things I have learned.
Well, it's 2:10 in the AM, I will be getting some shut eye now! Talk to you all tomorrow. Maybe I will start posting this in the morning. I want to leave ever posting with a Bible verse so here is my verse for this morning Philippians 4:6 (by the way, I'm just going to put the verse, it's up to you to look it up and see what it says!)
God Bless!
